I love Australia!! I've never been there, but I'll day when I go!!
All the cities are clean and modern. With great skylines!!

My favourite is Melbourne, because its combination of history and modernism. And it has the best skyline for me.

My ranking:

1. Melbourne
2. Sydney
3. Perth
4. Gold Coast
5. Brisbane
6. Adelaide
7. Hobart
8. Newcastle
9. Darwin

Greetings from Buenos Aires

I would say Melbourne, as it has the most number of Australian skyscrapers I like - virtually all of the top 6

In real life Sydney has the best skylines easily. Someone from Sydney needs to come in and post some beautiful/edited photos like the Melbourne ones so far.

Why were Hobart, Darwin and Newcastle included but Canberra and Wollongong weren't? Disgrace.

I guess you guys don't understanding anything that isnt boxy. Eureka is fabulous!

Personally, i prefer Syd over Melba.

I don't imagine people are basing their vote on the photos posted in this thread, but rather due to the hundreds of photos plastered all over SSC. I'm sure a number of people have visited these cities as well.

While Sydney is almost 100% perfect, the only thing it lacks is a signature skyscraper. It would be simply incredible then!

Gold Coast captures my attention though. They have a signature tower and are building buildings that 10 years ago would only be bland characterless buildings and i love that. Q1 is BEAUTIFUL - therefore Gold Coast gets my vote

sydney would be the best if the buildings were nicerI love the shape of the whole scene with the harbour, bridge, opera house and then the big dense clump of towers with sydney tower poking up the middle. But all the buildings are just big concrete boxes where as melbourne has some really nice landmark talls, eureka, rialto, 101/120 collins etc.. although maybe Im just biased

I voted for Adelaide, not because it is my favorite, or prettiest skyline, I voted for Adelaide because I CAN!

And the first post in this thread should rally have an image of each of our skylines.

The Adelaide hills are SO lush and green right now... really highlights the city.
