Я очень расчитываю на Вас, кто учавствует в форумах, у кого есть фотки наших любимых городов казахстанских, можете выкладывать в этом трэде с пометкой темы города, чьи фото будут здесь! Нужно расширить некоторые сведения и образ наших городов для незнающих граждан как нашей страны, так и для гостей из других государств!

City status in Kazakhstan have 86 settlements. Live in cities, 56% of the population.
In Kazakhstan there are 30 cities with a population of 50,000 inhabitants or more. The largest city in Kazakhstan is Almaty, which is home to 1,400 thousand people (in the metropolitan area of about 2100 thousand people).

Cities with population of 600 thousand inhabitants: Karaganda, Shymkent, Astana.
Cities with a number of 400 thousand inhabitants: Taraz, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Semey, Aktobe.
Cities with population of 200 thousand inhabitants: Kostanay, Petropavl, Uralsk, Temirtau, Atyrau, Kyzylorda.
Cities with population of 100 thousand inhabitants: Turkestan, Aktau, Ekibastuz, Kokshetau, Rudny, Zhezkazgan, Taldykorgan.
Other cities have a population less than 100 thousand people: Ridder, Baikonur, Balkhash, Satpayev, Kentau, Stepnogorsk, Zhanaozen, Shakhtinsk.
14 cities are regional centers: Kokshetau, Aktobe, Taldykorgan, Atyrau, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Taraz, Uralsk, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Aktau, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Shymkent. The two cities have the status of national importance: Almaty, Astana (the capital). Other major cities are the cities of regional subordination: Stepnogorsk in Akmola region; Zhanaozen in Mangistau region; Semey and Ridder in the East Kazakhstan region; Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Satpayev, Temirtau, Shakhtinsk in the Karaganda region, the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kyzylorda region; Rudny in Kostanay region; Ekibastuz in Pavlodar region; Kentau and Turkestan in South Kazakhstan region.

The country has 27 thousand antiquities.
