Saarinen TWA Terminal, JFK
Hello,
I'm new to the forums and thought I'd post pictures of my 1:400 diorama of Eero Saarinen's TWA terminal at JFK. The diorama is based on 1988 and it is still in the works. Comments appreciated! Enjoy! Brian ![]() ![]() ![]()

Oh my god! Amazing! I also collect 1/400 and 1/500 scale aircraft, very expensive hobby of mine! How long have you been working on this?

Thanks! Nice to see some diecast aircraft collectors here! It took 4 months to get to this point working on and off... Still waiting to find more TWA planes and saving up to buy GSE for the model.

Wow. I started collecting 1/500 for about 3 or 4 years and I just got into Gemini Jets last year. I don't have very many of them though. 250 bucks baught me like 7 planes! And the airport I really want is the same price. I am going to vegas in less than a week and that is where I go to the airplane shop. But a more local place that I buy them is the museum of flight at boeing field.

So are the terminals made of paper? I've never seen them anywhere.

Holy S*it! I thought 30$ was enough, but I would never imagine 200$ for one single plane! How do you get the money for that?

Anyway, here is another model I just recently built for someone: Bilbao International Airport by Santiago Calatrava. This one can light up on the inside.
