nice stadium looks kind of like the atanasio girardot in medellin, colombia, I really like the stands that get larger towards the middle

This stadium is amazing... I like the minimal footprint it seems to give off, even looking at it from up-close, yet it is so massive.

Does this stadium even have proper seating? If so, it looks like the seating is attached to each other. And the capacity may be a bit too large for a 63,100. It should look like a 68-75,000 capacity to me.

I dont have exact figures, but i am almost sure that 63,000 is the maximum of fans allowed for a football match, because some parts of the lower bowl have very poor visibility, plus they always leave a free space between fans of oposite teams. Crowds can get to emotional at Pumas games (the home team).

But this stadium can hold more than 68,000 if all seats are used.

It has no actual seats, but has a kind of bench, so if some day they add individual seats, the lost of capacity will be minimal.

love this stadium, does anybody have pictures of this stadium during the 1968 Olympic games? Opening ceremony maybe?

I always love the minimalistic look of this stadium... although ... what do you think of a roof over it?? would it ruin the esthetic of the original arquitecture?

Are you kidding me man? I know that "ugly" comment was off-base but what you said is ridiculous too.
