Critics want glass..............WE GIVE THEM GLASS.................A WHOLE BOX OF IT...............................

Green glass seems to be the ''in'' thing for Singapore nowadays....I have no complaints about that.........The green glass fits in PERFECTLY with the MRT station atriums constructed 4 years back............seems like the S.O.M. designers for the MRT station designed the atriums to be part of the T3 building.

A box design...who cares........its big and imposing.....................I like it..........

Progress seems pretty quick for something due to open only in about 2.5 years time at it earliest..............

Same goes for the new People Mover System.................

yeah, i usually fly Bangkok - Sydney via Singapore on SIA so i'm usually in Changi 4 times a year.
The extent of the interior renovation keeps amazing me. in 2003 it was the opening of new shops, not just typical liquor and tobcacoo shops but Hermes. Then in 2004 it was that new lounge near the outdoor smoking section and that new glass wall allowing you to have a better view of the tarmac. I also happened to stumble upon a restroom with views of the tarmac, that was definaely a new experience from a urinal.
The last time I was there they had covered the escalators going to the outdoor smoking section (ie. looked like that area was going to be renovated). Im sure there are more works underway but I was in a rush, SIA has a habbit of announcing their final calls 20-30 minutes before take off.

With a little luck I might be back in another 6 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed.

Woohoo....nice! Well the thing is you probably get to fly SIA frequently, so you get to see all the action in Terminal 2. I am still stuck in Terminal 1, which is still awaiting renovations, and I have never actually utilised Terminal 2 in my life. Imagine that! !

Aiyah even though you use T1, you can also go to T2 via the skytrain...........then you can "utilise" T2......
