For about 70 years there seemed to have been a shyness to build skyscrapers near the mighty Empire States Building... but during the last years, some nice towers in the 150m-200m range have been risen here and enrich the NYC midtown panorama.

And the Setai will look great in this neighborhood, when the yet missing art-decoesque roof is built.

What is the name of this building supposed to mean?

In Japanese "setai" means "generation," but is that what this "setai" is supposed to mean?

this tower is indeed a great addiotion to the skyline! as i said before, the crown will look fantastic (especially at night)!

Looking good! This tower has really grown on me since it began. It fits so well with the Empire State Building.

interestingly, nyc seems to be the only city on ssc where forumers complain about new construction blocking the view of other buildings... it's pretty awesome haha.

I somehow thought the cladding would turn out better. Let's wait for the main element, being the crown on top. Then I'll do the final judge.
