thank god, not because the ESB isnt an amazing building, but because NYC is growing, which is really cool, plus after a while in the city the ESB just becomes another building

Hi guys im from UK- outside of London so i don't see many tall buildings, but omg i love the NY skyline so much! It's got this really... sortof... 1960s look to it, but no other city can touch it.

NY is starting to look dated in my opinion but thats what makes it so special- it has it's own sortof red/ brown style what no other city has, and is just so dense. I cant explain it but you know what i mean.

God I would like to live in that building. The desing isn't particulary special or beautiful (but not ugly or anything either), but the location is fantastic, right next to the ESB.

It really does abstractly mimic the spandrel patterns of the ESB, doesn't it? Its slender profile and proportions should in no way detract from views in that area of Midtown. I think it's very understated but with that crown lit up, very cool as well!
