Hi! I'm from the land of thousand islands Philippines, and base from the photos of beautiful Brazilian cities, I'm must say I'm totally impressed with Recife! Its Brazil's version of the Gold Coast in Australia!

Viva Brasil!

I am tempted to say that Recife has the best skyline in Brazil.

I voted for Rio de Janeiro..... Brazil's problem is that its skylines are almost identical so many times you can't even tell the cities apart.

(I hope I don't sound mean or offensive for saying what I stated above, if I do I apologize)

I second that. Brazil's big cities, skylinewise, are only seas of homogeneous blocky concrete boxes, with little to none architecturally interesting buildings. The "height freight" of brazilian urbanists only make things worse. The tallest building in the country is just 177m tall, which may be impressive and be called a "skyscraper" by local standards, but hardly would be noticed in real tall dense skylines abroad. By some shots above I say Balneário Camboriú and Recife the best cityscapes, with of course, a special mention to São Paulo and its vast huge concrete carpet.

The brazilian cities are improving their skylines.
