Thanks! Salvador was Brazilian first capital, founded in 1549. It was built to resemble indeed a Portuguese city. Nowadays it has 3.000.000 inhabitants, and its historic colonial district, named Pelourinho, is the largest in Brazil and is considered by Unesco a World Heritage Site!
