There is still a Coke machine located under the awning of the site office - as long as it is there I haven't officially given up on Vision....

Great news though - the more the merrier! But where? If Harry's current trends are to be followed - it will be a tall skinny tower on a small site, located on the city fringes.

Harry should buy Vision site and build two 275m+ twin towers - it's the only logical thing to do.....

the rest of article says how harry loves brisbane and its planning laws and is now set to add many more projects over the next few years. it mentions how his units are selling and the other towers (vision, trilogy ect) have stalled due to no funding but harry has his own money ;-).

Exiting times ahead maybe on the back of Harry. From the tone of his posts it sounds like Cul would like to move to Brissy.

Sorry guys. My guess is a 20 to 30 story building in eather Newstead, Valley, South Brisbane or Woolloongabba. Still I'd prefer that to another major tall in the city. Those afforementioned areas are the next to boom and I suspect he may try for the first 30 story building in South Brisbane.

Considering Vision is designed, already a % presold and started, surely it could be had for cheap/er, re-tendered etc. At the end of the day it was funding that put a halt to it, no reason why it couldn't be kickstarted by someone else with the same net end result..

I also think there's a good chance he'll diversify a little and do something in a fringe suburb rather than the CBD. 3 very large towers from the same company in the CBD is a lot of supply...

Would be nice if he could pick up all the TOD's that never happened - the Mill, Union, El Dorado, Southpoint... If only!

I also read an interview with Harry where he was saying how much he enjoyed working with BCC and how that they were 25% faster than Sydney.

There are plenty of sites out there though. One that springs to mind is the corner of Albert and Mary Streets diagonally opposite Rivercity. There is also the site Trinity are trying to get rid of on Queen Street on the City side of Aurora.

From what I understand, it is owned by Devine and leased by the QPSU.

You could fit two of his towers on that site! (Could you imagine 270m twins?)
