The City of Delaware is considered a suburb of Columbus, just like Grove City, Worthington, Hillard, or Dublin. It's located in Delaware county and is the county seat of that county. Sometimes though it doesn';t feel like a suburb because unlike say Whitehall or Grandview, there is alot of land that is still agricultural between the two cities.

Wow, theres a lot of photos here, I only just went through the first page but I'm quite impressed. Having only seen Columbus from satellite images I was horrified by the amount of surface parking around the downtown, but the inner city seems to have more density and character then I expected. A lot of very nice architecture in the downtown and I really loved the Victorian Village.

Yeah, Columbus is a big city but not so big as to stop you from really exploring it in a reasonab;e amount of time. And yeah, in regards to the surface parking, I thought the same thing. But after being on the 16th floor of the county building and looking over Downtown, it looks much more dense then you might expect. Although we STILL have WAY to much surface parking. And I will say this, I think many of our inner city neighborhoods are much healthier then others in the state. Granted, we have our fair share of shitholes, but they are not as numerous as other places. Over all, I'm very proud of my city, I while I think Mayor Coleman is an ass in person, he has done ALOT for this city! Columbus was much different when I was a kid!

German Village and Schumacher Place III

I REALLY liked this place, and at $269,990 it's pretty affordable for this area (Closer to Mohawk, there was a house that looked like this for sale for $699,000), but once you add in the property taxes, which are $5,287 a yr, it seems less like a deal!

WHAT, IN GOD's NAME WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY BUILT THIS PORCH?!?!?! This is a good example of what NOT to do when adding on to a historic home. I wonder how on earth it got by the German Village Commission?????

More to come!
