oooh it's looking very nice! Is this the same cladding (or similar maybe) to that which is going to be used on Freedom Tower?

Extraordinary!! New York still remains the good taste skyscrapers city!!Since the beggining of the 20th century! Shangai or Hong kong can`t reach the level of taste of NY!!

it'll be similar in terms of material. but if the current design holds, then the freedom towers will consist of a glass curtain wall with diamond-shaped frame framing the building on all sides, which will definitely be different from new 7's facade.

besides, im thinking that the buildings in the new wtc complex will look quite different from new 7, especially with the possibility of other architects playing a role in building the other buildings.

so, at the end, i think new 7 will wind up becoming like old 7: it won't really look like it's part of the wtc complex. instead, it'll look like it's just another skyscraper that just happens to be next to the new wtc complex.

The building is boring. It has nothing special, just a wall of glas.
It would be better it they build something as special as Conde Nast.
This is a building with a face.

Just pretty...a good financial state...do remember that this will be next to what should be quite the striking building thus this building may be designed not to draw attention away.

Nice... The new 7WTC looks much better than the old one..

Somehow it reminds me of Cheung Kong Center in HK... Maybe due to the boxiness...

That building with the triangle roof looks alot like London's Canary Wharf. What is that building?

They were both designed by Ceaser Pelli, which explains the resemblance. The one in Manhattan is called 3 World Financial Center and was built a few years before 1 Canada Square.
