at first it looked a little bit boring to me, but looking closer you found its beauty and its classy style also.

With this relatively simple design, let's hope the rest of the WTC towers draw good attention back to downtown.

Man talk about today's society. Its simple and elegant. Great finish and nice height.
But people nowadays want a building to have lasers shooting out, with neon outlines and perhaps even a spire or two. (= tacky)
Not only does this building look great, it is very elegant in its simplicity. NY after all these years retains its class.

btw it isn't a box, its more like a rectangle

Not every building should have an spectacular design. If it would be, we won't apreciate the great and original building. A simple design, don't have to be crap. Just this building, a simple design is elegant and fits well to the city.

Well, it's unfinished yet (the roof is biased ...) and with the others new building around I think the grape is gonna look pretty cool.

Well, this tower was built in what is known as the"fasttrack" method of construction, with the exception of the intergration of the Con. Ed. substation within it's lower floors, and the special slipforming of the core after the steel erection, (I believe it followed the steel erection six to eight floors below.) and a new light reflective type window spanderel in the cladding system, there is nothing else special about this building, "FastTrack" construction in part means that every floor is typical to the next, with no special steel framing, or structural modification, to any given floor, (in this case we exclude the first 11 floors for ConEd.) this method speed's up actual construction time, saving on material/labor cost's.

I believe the thinking behind this building was "let's at least get one tower up as fast as possible" and yes , for a skyscraper that is more or less of a standardized nature, it is an impressive office tower, (Though to me more so in what it represents, than in how it look's.) On a scale of 1 to 10 i give it an 8.

The only complaint that i have, is that at least two other new WTC buildings, (or office towers) should already be rising, or at least coming out of the ground by now..!!!!!.
