Wouldn't it be great if they relocated the rail tracks, decreased them by 50%, went underground, or built above them to link the CBD with the waterfront, maybe even limiting roadways in the 'inbetween' area? Toronto's got a lot of potential! Lookin' good!

too many people rely on those trains, interrupting their schedule would have serious consequences, but from an aesthetic point of view that would look better, the waterfront towers coming up would merge nicely with the CBD and create a very nice density area.

The design looks very good, better than most of other condos in TO, but the "cheese plates" on the top should have been kept away from the design, it literally looks very cheesy ...without it those two towers could've become the two most beautiful condo towers in Toronto, but they managed to worsen the design by adding this unnecessity .

What worries me more is that the view on Toronto's CBD will be obstructed...probably It'll still be possible to see the higher towers (BMO, Scotia Plaza etc. ) from Gardiner , but it's one of the classical views of the Toronto skyline IMo, and also from Toronto Islands the view might be obstructed a bit...

Also I always wondered why people would want to buy a condo so close to the highway...some of the windows on the condos next to Gardiner downtown are less then 5 m from the highway...no wonder that those windows can't be opened!
What they should do IMO is to build a tunnel under the Gardiner, but it seems that the city doesn't have any money for infrastructure...

Toronto is a beautiful city, but it is ridiculous to compare it to New York.
No offense, but it's like trying to compare a 10 year old to an adult....
Don't insult New Yorkers, New Yorkers aren't 10 year olds. And yes, it is offensive.

Is it the holes of the entire panel on top that you dislike?

Tiny! I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to square footage, but I wouldn't consider anything under 800 sq ft.

Yes - this is a studio flat, although the bedroom is still not bad at about 100 sq ft!
