Looks like the shorter one is starting to make an appearance.

For some reason it took me an entire minute to spot the airplane. Must be the weakening eye sight.

But yes that is a plane. There is an airport in the waterfront on an island.

It's a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 to be precise. They seat 70 people.

These commercial flights have really added another layer of vibrancy to the downtown. Their flight path takes them over Cherry Beach sports field then parallel to the lake shore (a good couple hundred feet from it) to Billy Bishop Airport. It's a great view from the plane coming in for landing.

funny ...last week in Paris, I met this Brazilian girl from Montréal who approached me with the request to kindly take a picture of her with Eiffel Tower and so I did plus I did take a few more pics of her with better views that most tourists don't know of. She was so happy ...

anyway ... she told me her husband works for Bombardier and immigrated to Canada 11 months ago and now, he is travelling all across the globe and takes her with him but she has nothing to do and nobody to know so she goes out on her own and takes pictures.

I loved it ... she was also kind of wondering why in God's sake they moved to Canada cause she has not been living in MTL for longer than 3 months now!

Sounds like she doesn't have too much to complain about.

Nice pic, this project has a nice speed, especially when there are barely updates.

Was looking at floorplans for this building, absolutely gorgeous. The curved balconies are a treat.
