It rarely gets below 0C. And in the summers it might get 50C under the sun, and 35C in the shadow. Pretty much same as Tel Aviv I guess.

Tel Aviv summers are much better imo.
If you want to visit Izmir try to choose April or September/October. Summers are pretty uncomfortable here.

It's considered miracle when it rains here in summer

Though this June has been extremely rainy, it rained almost everyweek, at least 2 days in a week.

In winters, during daytime it doesn't get colder than 10C, and it gets 2-3C in the night. It snows some years. but in most cases it melts in hours

We had an epic snowfall in the 2002, it snowed after a day that we hit 32C

winter like a spring in izmir. only rain and windy. aproximately 0 degree maximum.
