Atago Green Hills continued.. This is "Atago shrine" which was built in 1603 by Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu. According to a sign i saw there it is the highest point in tokyo.

Skyscraper seen from Shrine

Walking thru Atago Green Hills to Tokyo Tower I stumbled upon other temples

Here is a video I took of the area above, but it was really rocky so it's too bouncy maybe.

Well, I got around Tokyo faily well with an impressive japanese vocabulary of 1 word: "Arigato" I did have some "missundestandings", but that's part of the fun!

Love your pics!

Now let's take a shinkansen to Kyoto! This is my last post for this thread, and it's video of tokyo from Shinkansen

For those who don't know shinkansen is High Speed rail and was actually the first system in the world for HSR

In this video you can see tokyo tower from shinkansen

Now we are going to Kyoto at top speed This is the japanese countryside

Anyways Hope you enjoyed my videos and pictures

Im going to put this thread (but with food and Awa Adori festival too) in the Japan forum

I like how you complemented panoramic shots of the city skyline with street level photography, showing the scale of Tokyo's urban buildup and an eye-level, ground perspective. I cant get enough of this beautiful metropolis
