Great Wall of China - My 1st time

Quite surprised how steep the stairs are - some of them can be as high as 4-5 traditional bricks. Climbing up & down is really an experience but requires some foot muscles.
It's only a 2-hour flight from Hong Kong, though it takes more than 2 hours drive from Beijing to the Walls, depending on which sections. But it's worth the time and beautiful sceneries can be seen along the journey.

That photo, the location is close to Beijing or another big city?

Thanks. This section of the Great Wall is within Beijing municipality and the closest and therefore the most visited.

Yes, this restored Wall section is where the most tourist tours go. Favorites: #5 and 8.
