As New York City's biggest admirer in the world, I have to say that I am stunned at this pic and also that I won't ever take the fact that NYC has lost
its most omnipotent and impressive towers, the WTC They were so huge that even when seen from the distance they still looked big, and that was something that fascinated me so much. Now that they're definitely gone, I still feel a hole unfilled deep within my urban landscape heart... Yes, the Malaysian guy is right: the city seen from above looks so well planned and organized, even if it appears to be strange that this city could have had any plans or strategies on its creation, since I have heard of nothing on this. Well, I may be just a bit ignorant on the subject, since it's not my city. Thanks for the pics, hope NYC recovers its position of most tall skyscrapers-crowded city... |

it will be hard to do so, Hong Kong is way ahead, and Shanghai is coming fast!!!
But NYC and Chicago will always have the advantage number/history

Looks like the Time Warner Center that's U/C in that pic. Not sure of it's construction timeline, but I would guess it was taken maybe sometime in the fall or winter.
