ang ganda ng Manila sa pics ni shyaman pero surprisingly, negative pa din mga comments. those pics are posted to appreciate the beauty of manila, in reality oo, hindi nga ganun kalinis but still may natitira pa din namang ganda for us to be happy about. ibang tao nga naman...

If you expect the water to be blue, you won't see it because it was shot in the morning and the sky above the bay is overcast thus giving the water a blackish tone. There may be portions of Manila Bay especially near the mouth of Pasig River that are littered with floating garbage but describing in general Manila Bay as such is exaggerated.

Yeah, your are right. I should have not generalized the Manila Bay. My bad. I should have said parts of it. I saw those tons of garbage in the water when the Super Ferry is somewhere in the middle of the bay when we were going to Boracay.

there has been a big improvement if you compare it during the 80s...na meron talagang amoy at halos itim na ang color ng bay....at least medyo meron ng concern ang mga tao ngayon sa environment thus the improvement...

Kahit ba ano sabihin mo, talagang ang dumi ng Manila bay at what r93k401 is somewhat true, para talagang naghuhukay ka ng basura habang bumabiyahe sa Manila bay..

Diba sabi nga ng mga probinsyano at iba pang tao na pumupunta sa port area, pag may nakita ka ng lumulutang na basura sa malayo palang (around cavite area) tapos may naamoy ka ng mabaho ibig sa bihin nun nasa manila bay ka na..

Infact nga, I remember riding the ferry dyan sa Manila bay dati eh, i think i saw a boat na tumirik dahil nag stuck un propellers nya sa mga basurang palutang lutang !

dati nga gaya ng sabi mo pero once na maging tagumpay ang lopezes sa ilog pasig. Tuloy-tuloy na ang paglinis ng Yamang Dagat sa Manila lalo na ang Manila Bay.
