Just got this news, Lim is partnering with lacuna for the next elections. Other pairings include Isko Moreno and Naida Angping, and get his Erap Estrada and Lito Atienza for the mayorship of Manila. I dont know what to think about this.

Statue on the Jones Bridge...


Isa talaga yang Pre-War Jones Bridge sa pangarap kong mai-restore.. "The best" siguro na mayor yung makakapag-restore nyan sa future..or kung magagawa ni Alfredo Lim na mai-restore yung mga ganyang structures sa term niya, baka may pag-asa pa siya sa akin na iboto siya sa next elections.

Ampangit ng Jones Bridge ngayon..pinagnanakaw na yung mga ilaw nya..or kung hindi naman pundido na..parang Christmas lights lang, patay sindi..


I think these are the only structures from the Bridge that survived World War II..

how about they rebuild the whole neo-classical bridge, but ask new sculptors to create something new, something that can resemble the new age filipino spirit but still in neo-classical styling. Co-existence of the old and new, this is how I see Manila. NAAAAKS!

And I think what Manila needs is a visionary and a doer mayor, a mayor who has Manila always in his heart, yun bang kumbaga gagawin niya ang Manila as the capital of the country that every Filipino is proud of - a clean, safe, business-friendly, environment-friendly and a "bread and butter"(opportunities for all) city, a mayor that could regain the city's lost elegance
