I'm presuming thisone is already in LaSalle's shopping cart.

I doubt real estate and commercial developers will take interest in this. The RMC embodies a lot of history (Beatles concert etc), and they simply can't bulldoze it to build condos without enormous protest. The City Government will of course also consider the historical value of the sports complex. There's no point acquiring a 5B property when you can't develop half of it (baseball and football field).

It's only logical that DLSU acquire the said sports complex as the school will maintain and not to mention improve the historical coliseum and the field. Not only preference from the city government, but the school also the money to purchase the said lot.

They're just waiting for the right price and the right time. Im probably speculative but I don't think DLSU will bulldoze its only field without any plans of acquiring a new one. After all you can't claim to be a world class university without your own field. As of the moment the school is also in the process of practically demolishing its pre-1990 buildings in favor of new ones. It wont be surprising to see the RMC as part of a grand masterplan to actually renovate the entire campus.

I can't wait for DLSU to get it. From being the school with one of the worst campuses in the Metro to being the only school with a modern soccer field, track oval and baseball coliseum, all located at an 18 hectare prime property in the heart of manila. Amazing

They could renovate it and transform into a world class sports complex like their state-of the art facilities.

La Salle has tons of money stashed off somewhere, hindi lang nila magamit kasi there's really no available land to develop in the campus. I do believe they have been waiting for this for such a long time, given the lack of any initiative to acquire a second campus in Metro Manila despite the clamor for a new one. LSGH and DLSZ are fully developed already, wala na silang pinag gagastusan. Kung makuha man nila to, lahat ng pinagiipunan nila magagamit na nila hehe.
