That's really great. Getting to know a new field. I have a great book tip for you: Architectural models from Ansgar Oswald. It's a really great book with beautiful models in there. I got it from my university library but I will buy it soon. There are a lot of different models in the books and with very different materials. It's maybe very interesting for you, too.
Maybe we should make a new plastic model thread so we can talk about the experience about that material because I also want to work with that material but of course I will still do paper models.
And yes, English is not my native language, it's German, but I lived in the US for an year, so I hope my English is still doing good.

Thanks for suggested book.
You need to expand your skills in scale modeling. Don't stop with paper.

I don't stop with the paper but I like to play with different materials. The last models I build with wood, metal and plexiglass and they came out really fine. I will upload some pics on the weekend if I have time. And right now I am building the Frank Lloyd Wright building with styrofoam (you can see it in another thread).

I used illustrator to size them up and scale the paper models in those sizes
