Katarina church, Stockholm

Was destroyed by fire in 1990 with only the exterior walls standing (the church silver and precious textiles were saved though). It was decided that the church would immediately be reconstructed using only authentic methods, which meant using everything from handmade nails to old style bricks.

A beautiful reconstruction. Too bad the interior decoration hasn't been recreated as well.

Well, it depends on what your definition of "reconstruction" is? Is it reconstruction or historicism (Market Square in Wroclaw, Poland)?
