yes, instead of giving "them" 8arabian investors) instruction and demands, we accept all for money. very bad example , and in fact good example od how NOT todo it. like we didnt have that much money to restore the building for much better purpose in last 20 years?!? sahme.

Borgen, Stockholm

Built as a royal lodge on what was once a field used for military drills, it burned down in 1977 but was faithfully reconstructed in 1982 due to its importance as one of few empire style structures in Stockholm. Luckily the interiors were removed at the time of the fire and thus preserved.

THIS is the perfect example for a disneyfied Building. It had been a beautifull early modern Building, and they frosted it with inadquade and childish plaster.

It has nothing to do with Jugenstil in any aspect. Its not even a stile, just total crap!

Poor idiots !!!

those are all ruins of the IIWW but also the total abandon of the old town in the 60s and 70s caused by the massive speculative overbuilding has the left many area of the city centre in these conditions. In the past 10 years a lot of spaces and building have been restored, but since it's one of the biggest historic centre in Europe, there is still a lot of work to do

Holy Cross Monastery on Łysa Góra, Poland

The church tower ( 52 m) of the monastery at Święty Krzyż, rebuilt after 100 years after the destruction during World War I was ceremonially opened on Sunday, 7 September 2014.

The Benedictine Monastery was founded (according to a legend, in 1006, by king of Poland, Bolesław Chrobry, but most sources give the 11th century). The monastery was named after a fragment from Christ' Cross which was supposedly enshrined there, and was a site of frequent pilgrimages.
