It is great indeed, but those are renovations, not reconstructions.

Elbląg Old Town, which was almost completely destroyed during World War II, is still being reconstructed to the present day. Worth noting some interesting plans:

Synneva Eies Hus (house) - Lćrdalsřyri, Norway

(Correct name is Synneva Eris Hus)
Lćrdalsřyri is a small village situated deep in the Sognefjorden, Norway's longest fjord. The village was part of the main route between Oslo and Bergen until the railroad opened in the early 20th century.

In January 2014, a major fire struck the village, ruining 42 buildings. One of the buildings lost was Synneva Eris Hus, built around 1840. It had served as a telegraph, bakery, an inn and more. The owner of the house (19), had inherited it from his father who passed away one year before the fire, decided to rebuild it as an exterior copy.

That's great. I especially like that the owner was so young yet he still saw the value in it. I have not followed the aftermath of the fire that closely. Was more historic buildings like that lost? And if so, do you know if more will be rebuilt?

It says that 4 'verneverdige' (not protected, but protection-worthy) buildings were lost, but this one was the only formally protected building.

A similar one at Kragerř central square in southern Norway. The old wooden building to the right here - known as the Hanssen building - burned down in 2009.

After the fire - the remnants were later demolished.

It was decided to reconstruct the building in 2010 and the work was finished in early 2011. They added a small infill between the two buildings and two windows on the roof, but it was otherwise reconstructed like it had been.

During construction:

This old boathouse that had been left in a collapsed state in Sogndalstrand, Norway for decades have just been rebuilt. The work was completed early last year.

How could such an elaborate full reconstruction only cost 130 million?

Sadly here!

The original building was extremly huge and arrogant here, but the building was partially destroyed in the war fortunately and reshaped later. The news about the reconstruction is an urbanistic catastrophe for the Walled city of Buda. The local environment is small size gothic and baroque houses and not kitschy eclectic mosters.
