^ That's mainly Art Nouveau / Jugendstil, not Art Deco.

Boston Ave Methodist Church, Tulsa OK

One of the best buildings in a city full of amazing Art Deco, this 1929 church is attributed to Adah Robinson and to Bruce Goff.

Art Deco should be continued on a broad scale today, I wish so badly!

In my opinion, some art deco buildings are inspired from ancient building, whereas American art deco inspired from ancient Aztec or Mayan architecture and Europe from Ancient Egypt or Mesopotamian architecture such as pyramid, temple, or ziggurat. Also, Asian art deco inspired from many ancient or traditional buildings such as Angkor Vat in Cambodia or Ancient Javanese temple such as Prambanan or Borobudur in Indonesia.
