I read that they were being donated to arts studios. I also read that some of it may be used as beach sand in the city. Still, I'd like a piece.

Will Scotia Plaza will be the next one? hopefully they will keep the redish colour and don't turn it to blue.

Has Scotia gotten dirty over the years too? I barely remember Scotia when I was a kid so I don't remember if it was a brighter shade of red.

We should ask it to TB. He sure knows the answer to this one.

It doesn't seem dirty at all, but you never know how city developpers do behave and hopefully none will suddenly decide to go and change its fašade.

Or worse, if the Bank itselfs decides to change its logo.

True one never knows how quickly a landmark suck as a skyscraper can have dramatic changes. Even when they changed the signage on top of BCE/Brookfield Place from red to green it was a big noticable difference.

Scotia doesn't look dirty or aged to me at all. There are a few broken windows though that were fixed via duct tape.

Sounds like it belongs in Sunnyvale Trailer Park and is managed by Randy and Mr. Lahey.

No... it looks perfectly fine. It's only 22 years old.
