Thanks for the pictures! I would love to travel to Japan when I have the money because I love Japanese history and have been told that I should go to Kyoto. I like the fact that they have kept the culture alive from Japans shogun era's.

Of course, the glory days of Kyoto go back to even before the time of the shoguns. Even though much has been destroyed over the centuries, it's the VERY deep historic, literary, and artistic associations that distinguish it like no other city in Japan.
