Right now our night skyline is changing. A new scheme adorns our third-tallest, a 380-foot tall JW Mariott is not yet topped out, Lucas Oil Stadium is now open, so no shots of these changes could be found in one image.
   this one shows the construction of the new JW Mariott  Same Angle, without tower  This one shows the new lighting scheme for the redesigned One Indiana Square

 This view of downtown Miami is from the north looking directly south since most are used to the skyline pics from Biscayne bay which is from the east. The white illuminated building is our performing arts center and to it's left with the neon at the bottom is the American Airlines arena. The building with the upside down "L" in white neon is the 67 story Marquis condo. To the far right all lit up is the Bank of America tower. image hosted on flickr  the CBD skyline at dusk with the Port of Miami bridge lit up. The building under construction is the MET 2 office tower which topped out in late August. image hosted on flickr  The Brickell Financial district south of the CBD looking northwest with it's mix of condos & office buildings. A few more of Minneapolis. (All photos taken by me)
Downtown from the Plymouth Avenue Bridge:  Mill Ruins Park and the condominiums created out of the former flour mills:  The Hennepin Avenue Bridge. This is the location of the very first permanent bridge to cross the Mississippi River:  The Tyrone Guthrie Theater. Designed by Jean Nouvel. The vertical light bars are actually animated LED marquees, smeared by the time exposure:
