J'ai pas fais attention à cette info.

I didn't make attention of that in moroccan forum.

I don't see a big difference between seats. Space between seats seems to be the same.

So what will happen if (someday) Morocco wins a World Cup bid?

Al Hoceima stadium is small stadium, for a small city and a small team.

Morocco will bid for WC 2026.

Ready or UC :
1 - Casablanca 55 000
2 - Rabat 52 000
3 - Fes 45 000
4 - Marrakech 45 000, ready in 2011
5 - Agadir 45 000, ready in 2011
6 - Tanger 45 000 extended to 69 000, ready in 2011

Previous :
7- Casablanca new stadium for ACN 2015 or 2017

All stadiums with FIFA spec ! (and also IAAF )

For a WC, it will miss 2 stadiums at least :
8- Oujda
9- El Jadida
10- Meknes

FIFA wants 12 stadiums for a WC.
What are the two stadiums which will be chosen in this case ?

Between 9 and 12, exactly.

For WC 2010 bid, we had :

Quote:
1 - Casablanca 55 000
2 - Rabat 52 000
3 - Fes 45 000
4 - Marrakech 45 000
5 - Agadir 45 000
6 - Tanger 45 000 extended to 69 000
7- Casablanca new stadium
8- El Jadida
9- Meknes
But for 2026, we wil have :

1 - Casablanca 55 000
2 - Rabat 52 000
3 - Fes 45 000
4 - Marrakech 45 000, ready in 2011
5 - Agadir 45 000, ready in 2011

Previous :

All stadiums with FIFA spec ! (and also IAAF )

For a WC, it will miss 2 stadiums at least :
8- Meknes/Oujda/El Jadida/Nador
9- Meknes/Oujda/El Jadida/Nador
10-Meknes/Oujda/El Jadida/Nador
11- Meknes/Oujda/El Jadida/Nador

But I think that it will be :
8- Oujda
9- El Jadida
10- Nador

3 cities with an incredible economic boom and big touristics and others projects realized, under construction and projected

11- Meknes, at 60km of Fes

No sir. You may wanna read the FIFA's recommandations first ! a 70k for the final is what you need. even they ask for all new stadiums to not exceed 70.000 ( security issues )

Remember some finals : Berlin 2006 (70 000) and Yokohama 2002 (70 000)

Final : + 70k
Semi final : + 60k
Inaugural : + 60k
1/4 : + 45k
Others : + 35k (remember France 1998, Toulouse, St Etienne ...)

Final : Casa new stadium 70-80k
Semi Final : Casa new stadium and Tangier (extended from 45 000 to 69 000)
Inaugural : Casa-Rabat-Tangier. Marrakech was proposed for 2010 with 60 000, but no is 45 000.

That is until 2014.

From 2018 onwards you'll need at least a stadium with 80.000 seats for the opening match and the final. Have you guys been sleeping lately?

You're right, it's new : http://fr.fifa.com/mm/document/affed...dcircularf.pdf

We will have CASABLANCA - Grand Stadium (80,000) like France in 1998 for opening match and final.

Nothing change for semi-final and 1/4 ?

It will be recovered by a "carpet" like in Yokohama and Durban (grass).
