im not trying to be mean dude just giving you advice

if you really want to make a mark here and have your work in every papercity, firstly you need the right scale and acceptable fecade (colored, of corse), as well as straight lines and all the pieces have to match up. after you have all 4 down, the possibilities are endless

I do appreciate your effort but when I look at your monte carlo model it appears like a hand drawing. Not meaning to be disrespectful or unappreciative but I was hoping it would be in color and I could print it out, like many of the models on this site. Am I missing something? Should I be opening it in paint or photoshop?

Hey skyscraperlover9595 I can help you to improve your models. It's not that you're not good but anyone can do better.
This is how I make them:
1.You need GoogleEarth

2. I go to the site named Google 3D warehouse and search for the building I want to make.
This one is optional and it's recommended because you don't have to waste your time searching that building in GoogleEarth because when you download the building it instantly goes to that building.

3. I don't use any scale I just make them in any size.sometimes it's small sometimes big *tall*. I make them in Paint.

4.When you find the building, first you look at her and make the plan in your head with the parts.

5.If the building is squared you place the picture of that building for just one side and take screenshot.

6. Paste it in first Paint (Open two of them) and cut the wall with square cutter (In paint it's the square image in upper right corner of the Tool Box)

7.Check the image and if it's good enough for you copy it and paste it in the second Paint.

8.Because the building is squared paste it four times and connect them.Make the black line between them to know where to fold it.

9.The roof is little bit tricky because it has to be the same width as walls. To get the roof do the same step as 5..If the width isn't correct select the image of the roof with the same tool used in 6. step.Click the right click on the mouse and select "stretch & skew". If the roof is longer than the wall use the smaller percent, and if it's smaller use the bigger percent. When you get the size check the other sides of the roof with the walls ( I use the ruller and place it on the monitor ).

Hope this one helps you.
