Being Italian I don't know the best English term to call a two-level platform. I hope English-speakers can help us

Thanks for the pictures

Is there any date for the opening of the B1 line?

Apparently metro line C will not be completed (beside the part already under construction) because of massive cost overruns. Does anyone know more?

Is the branch opening to Conco d'Oro or all the way to Ionio?

And trains running from Laurentina - are half running to one terminus and half to the other? What's the pattern going to be?

Will be open to Conca d'Oro. Romametropolitane society says Jonio station will open at the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013.

All the trains will depart from Larentina terminus, and reached Bologna station some train will go to new Conca d'Oro terminus, and some to the existing Rebibbia terminus.

In the inizial phase, they says that 2 trains of 3 will go to Rebibbia, and the last to Conca d'Oro

Thanks for the information. Would it be correct to assume that more trains go to Rebibbia because the Tiburtina high-speed railway station is on that trunk line?

That's correct. But when the new ordered trains will be delivered, I think we will have an half running to Rebibbia and half to Conca d'Oro

Yup, it's just very limited but they are working on that it seems.
I spend about 1,5 weeks in Rome 2/3 months ago and there was a strike one day (happened to be the day that I had rented a bike so I never noticed ).

The buses are complete and utter shit though. Italian bus drivers are pretty useless.

This is great news.

Now we can look forward to the next expansion of the Rome subway. When does the C train start running?
