I'm assuming that is the London Designer Outlet centre? If so, the aim is to be open Autumn 2013. I must take my camera the next time I'm out on site around Wembley. There is an awful lot being built.
This has now topped out:

Less than 20% of Brent residents shop (non-food) in the Borough, anything that reverses that is a good thing.
And it's an outlet centre, so shouldn't expensive ;-) |

Updates.
The Park Inn Hotel and apartments are nearly finished. Very nice, from certain angles you can now imagine what all of Wembley park will look like once all the sites are built upon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New Brent Civic centre. I also like this. Good materials nicely detailed. Has genuine civic presence. Good counterpart to the arena. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hilton looks good as well and now has a TGI Friday's, which for Wembley is good. ![]() ![]() Excuse the finger but it was pissing down by this point. You can just see the outlet centre under construction. ![]()

2026 officially.... Though if the full 11,500 homes are built by then I'd be very surprised.
Quintain are starting work on their first plot of NW Lands, NW01. This is the black tallish building to the right of The Arena:

![]() Outline in red is what has been built or nearly finished. The Park Inn is not part of the Quintain landholdings and is further south down the promenade near the tube. |

Is the nasty looking concrete hotel staying? The one on the far right just outside and above the red line you have drawn (tall white building that faces the road). That really needs to go. |

You would not have the planning app would you? I could not find it on the planning page. Only the outline for all of the NW plots

Having a rout through the London designer centre web site and some tenants are appearing on the lease pages.
Marks & Spencer Outlet, Gap Outlet, Lk Bennet, Superdry, Armani, Nike, Addidas, Guess, Villeroy & Bosch, Denby, Clarks, Paperchase. The restaurants are the usual suspects. At the lower end Frankie & Bennies, Costa and Nandos with the Middle catered for with Pizza Express, Prezzo, Las Igunas, Coast to Coast and Handmade Burger. It was a good idea to get a cinema in there. It's nothing spectacular but now, if I owned a flat there, I would not feel so in the middle of nowhere especially, with some half decent restaurants and a cinema within a short walk. Once they also get that small supermarket in, then it should be much easier to sell new flats here. |
