ATLANTA-HANDS DOWN
Atlanta has the most varied architecture, viewpoints I think out of them all.You can take a pic of several different views of Atlanta and most of them would look different. So different that unlesss you were familiar with the city, you would think they were different locations.
Downtown has the most collection of supertalls and more conservative designs.Using more marble, brick, and stone. ![]() Midtown has the crowns, more glass, glamour neo classical to post modern archtecture. ![]() image hosted on flickr ![]() Buckhead-Has the FUTURE.Steel, glass and curves.Boldness.Style,Sophistication. ![]()

I believe he was being sarcastic in his response because the poster posted pictures of nothing but daytime shots of Atlanta when this is a thread about night skyline! To me its a tossup between Dallas and Atlanta!

Wow, glad to see Richmond represented. No one ever cares much about it, but it does have a beautiful night skyline.

There were some nice aerial night shots of the Dallas skyline shown during the NBA All-Star game if anyone was watching.

I think Atlanta has the most photogenic skyline at night, but in person I find Miami's the most interesting. It's large and spread out, to a greater extent than Atlanta's, so the scale of it can't be captured easily in one angle.
But you drive miles into the suburbs and the condo towers keep going. It's fantastic. |

As a kid and stuff I would always remember how cosmopolitan Dallas looked, and how great the skyline was at night. I still think this today, and love Dallas' skyline.

A new addition to the Charlotte Night skyline is in testing phases, every edge up the entire building will be capable of lighting up this way as well.
http://cltblog.com/5935 you can take a look there. |

The line of skyscrapers on the left will probably look like the cluster on the right one day with all the spaces filled in. That entire area from the Eddie Rickenbacker Causeway to the Julia Tuttle Causeway is zoned for skyscrapers. That's every space in that line up to the small white high-rise on the left.

That was just testing its capability really, they will more often do a solid color, orange for bobcats games, blue for panthers, pink for breast cancer awareness month, green for st. pattys day. I read it will the capability of looking like a candy cane at xmas...
