A strong contender for the title of world's ugliest supertall. Looks like a very low quality building.

Looks are subjective and a personal choice, but this is a very high quality building.

Do take a look at the awesome facts about this tower below, the cladding to come and the video:

Some of the key facts of this tower:

World's largest self compacting concrete pour = >240000 Cu.m
World's tallest atrium = >200m

Want to see some positive comments in this thread ? Just change the location in title from Mumbai to any chinese or US city.
Same render same building but you will get good comments about the building

I disagree. I don't think there would be many negative comments about Namaste tower in Mumbai. That one is beautiful compared to this.
This building is just another residential tower with a typical residential facade that would blend into a skyline full of apartments. Although the atrium is impressive.

and that most renders look cheap doesn't help either. if there were high quality renders it would get better feedback aswell. I think with the giant atrium this building has a lot of potential, considering it is like a ring of a building it will look very very massive. on renders i think this building does not look to good, mostly because of its cladding and i do hope that the cladding will turn out a lot better than what we got on those renders.

The problem is almost 90% of the skyscrapers in Mumbai are residential. Residential buildings doesn't look good to the eyes as compared to commercial ones, no matter which ever city is (look at Hongkong or shenzhen's residential skyscrapers). Mumbai is yet to witness the real commercial skyscraper boom like other global cities.

How does Mumbai cope with this density? I mean, which infrastructures did they plan along with the construction of the tower? Is the area busy all day long or just in rush hours?

Thank you

Mumbai already has probably the busiest suburban train system in the world carrying more than 8 million people everyday but its still very crowded. I addition Metro and Monorail networks are under construction. More suburban lines are planed.
Not only this area but even the outermoist suburbs are extremely crowded and busy.
