Simtropolis - I need help!

Hello All

I have just returned to playing sim city 4 after a few years break and now i want to download STEX files from the simtropolis website (maps, buildings, etc)

I dont remember how to do it though

my main questions are
- in which folder should i save the files (is there a way to set them to save automatically where they should be saved?)
- how do i install the maps once i download them?
- how do i get to light up the new buildings i download at night?

Here my solution for your question
- You need to save the files in folder : mydocuments/simcity4/plugins
-To install the map,first you need to create new region, next press ctrl+shift+alt+r and then a window open, next choose the image that you download, last you will need to wait a few minutes.
- Download patch from simcity4.com

thanks! what about the lights at night? whenever i download a new building they dont light up at night! how can i fix this problem?

and in what folder am i supposed to save the maps? and in what format?

Hi, first of all you should register on the official site. For the night lights first you should install the SKUx update:

Then, go to dowload the BAT tools and download the stuff there, once you register you should find the BAT update that fixes night lights: http://simcity.ea.com/coolstuff/bat/index.php
