Hey everyone finaly i found a news about the airport

مطار الخرطوم الجديد يدخل المرحلة الأخيرة للتنفيذ

أعلنت ادارة مشروع مطار الخرطوم الدولي الجديد، أن عمليات التخطيط بالمشروع قطعت شوطاً مقدراً خاصة في مجال الأعمال التحضيرية كالطرق والتسوير والمياه والكهرباء والبيئة.
وقال مدير ادارة الاعلام بمطار الخرطوم الجديد ،صلاح الشفيع محمد،للمركز السوداني للخدمات الصحافية، ان ادارة المشروع استطاعت حتى الان الانتهاء من الطريق الرابط والمؤدي الى داخل أرض المطار بطول «10» كيلو مترات، وسفلتة الطريق الخدمي حول سور المطار بطول «18» كيلومتراً، بجانب الجهود في معالجة تطبيق حصاد المياه، والسعي لزراعة مليون شتلة، موضحاً أن المشروع سيتيح فرصة استثمارية جاذبة باعتباره أهم المشروعات الاستراتيجية والتنموية في السودان، مبيناً أنه سيكون له أثر اقتصادي كبير ينعكس على المنطقة بصورة خاصة والبلاد بصورة عامة.
وأشار الى أنه تم حفر خمسة آبار تكفي لاحتياجات المطار، بالاضافة الى قيام محطة الجموعية بسعة «200» ميقاواط، ومنشآت مكملة للمطار، تتمثل في محطة وقود رئيسية بالمطار، ووحدة تموين ،اضافة الى طرق رئيسية وفرعية تربط المطار بالمدينة، مؤكداً أن المشروع دخل المرحلة الثانية والأخيرة المتمثلة في الأعمال الرئيسية للمرحلة الأولى، التي بموجبها يتم نقل الحركة الجوية الى موقع المطار الجديد.

interesting designs. Since Sudan has applied for EAC membership maybe Sudanair should start Khartoum-Dar flights

Hello Hopfully Yes And Sudan Air Is Curruntly is going forward as they increased the flights to addis ababa from 4 to 5 weekly and there is plan to increase the route to daily due to the high demand i wish they can open dar route it will be a great audditon for the airline and the airport

Sudanese enjoy travelling, but often they end up going to expensive destinations like turkey and malaysia, i think African destinations such as tanzania and ethiopia could become viable cheaper alternatives.
