Sydney should just do a Qatar, I mean its population is three times that of Doha.

Sydney should just host the whole thing.

I know it's a joke, but that's just silly.

Just like a country of 1.6 million hosting 64 matches.

Not the bid book but a new brochure featuring stadiums and host cities.

Pretty happy - although where's the roof on Stadium Australia? (Wish they would call it Sydney Olympic Park)

Hopefully the Adelaide stadium includes retractable seating, not just temporary.

Think my favourites are Perth (amazing) and Canberra, which looks very much like a European stadium B)

i think they would hold it at brisbane rather than perth. suncorp stadium is one of the best rectangular stadiums in the world

Agreed it's a great stadium but without an upgrade it isn't big enough.

And it would be kind of unfair to have 3x semi-finals on the east coast. I honestly don't think Brisbane or Queensland would be all that fussed - after all, we do have three venues.

Especially when there are only 2 Semi's

But seriously it's a matter of Stadium Capacity and Time Zone location with Perth in the same Time Zone as the whole of China, 4 hours ahead of India and 8 ahead of England.

It's a complex. Just like the MCG near the MRS and the Tennis Centre...

The one on the far side in Canberra is the current stadium. It is in the Australian Institute Of Sport complex.

Thanks for the quick replies, i heard you got your league's tournament "clash" problem resolved, they have to sacrifice something for the world cup.
