do you mean High Speed Rail?

If so, thats decades away - its 900km between Melbourne and Sydney, and there is no way this could be built in time for the world cup (between land buys, demolition, construction, testing)

Well I've never heard the WC Bid mentioned in talks over the HSR System and they have been in talks for 30 years (well before any bid) so though we don't know if it will be built, the WC has no bearing on it.

Although FIFA have given their first indication to Qatar that hosting rights won't come their way for 2022 ,at least they gave them a pathway for the future on June 7th when they ratified a model for joint bids
I feel a bit for Qatar because before bidding started it was quite obvious that FIFA weren't interested in co-hosts and so they had no real choice but to bid by themselves even though its a single city bid.
This experience will hold them in good stead for the next AFC hosting availability

Closing the Qatar thread? that wasn't Will737. It was Solopop and Waqif.

As for Kangaroos, they're a good sort. In urban areas you find them on the Golf courses.

Devil in disguise And if you were kidding around, LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, not funny at all. Solopop, Oncebittentwiceshy & _X_ objectives are cleary = 1.Derailing thread, 2.Causing thread lockdown, 3.Promoting problems, 4.Personal attack on members, 5.Trolling, 6.Posting Irrelevant info (sometimes without sources to prove at all, and when questioned no sources given or no response), 7.Bringing up all whats NOT related to the Bid.

some might or might not apply to all 3, but this is MY clear analysis of what happened unfortunately. Lets hope sometime in the future the thread will reopen (with-out any trolls).

End of THIS discussion.

See, this is the apparnt attitude that caused the closure of the Qatar thread. INFACT i could say the exact same thing if you asked me this question. but no, this is not a good answer.

Please post number of rooms available now & in 2022, also please provide sources for your information.
