Yes, I also think Australia is the clear favourite for 2022. They will host a great world cup. In fact, given their hosting abilities of the Olympics, I am surprised they haven't already hosted the world cup before!

Qatar not rely on FIFA reports becouse was expected thing by Qatar team as everyone knows that the international federations rife with corruption and political interests and fifa not far of these things and since beginning Qatar lobby countries around it is bid and didnt give chance to FIFA reports which can be effected by media and political interests and hidden dirty plans to exclusion Qatar as we saw in FIFA tries.

FIFA reports remarked Qatar only as High Risk bid !!!

while country such Korea not high risk bid !! Korea is a very risk country becouse it is in war with north korea and just yesterday the whole world saw how north korea bombed south korea boarders and killed some koreans the funny thing Korea already hosted worldcup and nobody said it is High Risk before.

USA not marked as high risk and it is very risky country for many reasons such as high state of emergency in the country for terrorist acts, weather condition since it is has states with higher temperatures than Qatar, no goverment guarantees.

South Africa hosted fifa world cup and the most funny the players and fans were in danger becouse the people hold guns in this country more than who playing football and we saw the violence since the first day there when nilson mondila didnt come opening ceremony becouse his granddaughter murdered and many other cases like the two fans attacked in their hotel room during their sleep and etc even south africa it is self they recognize the great danger and has trained large groups of people to engage in security plus the weather which many times was below zero Celsius which consider very risk on players and fans and nobody was care of this matter even the countries never played in such weather condition or fans comes from very hot parts of the world.

so distortion is not suprise for Qatar bid team and the real suprise what Qatar has been prepared for others.

I think someone as always forgot to take their pills. India alone will smash the US by 2020. India's middle class by itself is expected to be around 600 million plus people, that's double the current US population. China's middle class is expected to be even greater at 700 million people. That's 1.3 billion consumers that the world's biggest companies will want to get their hands on, so tough luck

Australia has so far concentrated on promoting its bid on the basis of being a safe bet -- based on successful hosting of numerous major sports events -- and the country's popularity as a tourist destination, rather than on financial opportunities.

"The future growth of Asia is an important factor when analysing the impact of hosting a future World Cup in the region," said Ben Buckley, chief executive officer of the Football Federation of Australia.

"By 2022 GDP in Asia is expected to be twice as great as that in Europe or North America. Australia's main trading partners are Japan, China, Korea and India, and as such we are very much aligned with the region's future growth.

"By bringing the World Cup to Asia and the wider Australasian region, FIFA will have the opportunity to share in this growth, while the expected revenues highlighted by the research would allow FIFA to make further significant investments in the game's development across the world.

He added: "We welcome the positive evaluation of our bid as published last week by FIFA, and...we invite members of the executive committee to consider the potential that a World Cup in Australia offers in terms of football development and commercial success."

Australia is vying with Japan, South Korea, Qatar and the United States to host the 2022 World Cup. FIFA's executive committee will choose the hosts in Zurich on Dec. 2.

Crouch has that well and truly covered, besides Craig Moore had his opportunity to produce something special when he scored in the world cup but there was nothing forthcoming.

Moorey was great in 2006 but really shit in 2010 & in the leadup. He shouldn't have even been there in South Africa, he didn't even have a club.

He is a good defender though. His management obviously weren't doing a good enough job, that's if he has a manager of course.

Governor-General Quentin Bryce will formally lead Australia's delegation to the announcement of the host nation for the 2022 World Cup. Bryce, who is the patron of women's football in Australia, will play a role in Australia's final 30-minute presentation to the FIFA Executive Committee on December 1.

"I am honoured to be leading such an important delegation which is on a mission that could have tremendous benefits for the entire nation," she said in a statement. "We will be presenting a very strong case for Australia to FIFA on how we could hold a fantastic 2022 FIFA World Cup in our beautiful and friendly country."

Football Federation Australia chairman Frank Lowy said the FFA was delighted to have secured Bryce's services.

"FFA is extremely honoured that our country's head of state will lead our delegation of proud and distinguished Australians hoping to secure the biggest sporting event in the world for Australia," Lowy said.

"We have enjoyed unequivocal government support at every stage of this amazing journey and to be able to produce an Australian government representative of the stature of the Governor-General at this time is a great coup."

333, you need to take life less seriously if you start asking for relevance of hot former super models

seriously though, Elle has been used as an ambassador for a number of programs by Australia in the past due to the recognition and media attention she generates internationally. Not surprised they may be wheeling her out again.
