no doubt the usual suspect... downloads flickr pics, uploads them to his own and then posts in international forums hoping the owner doesn't notice... from a private photo set no less so no-one can lookup the imgID from flickr...
this clattering buttock has left the imgID in the filename though... here's the original taken by onehourleft (which is DarJoLe) image hosted on flickr ![]() BMW Sponsor Showcase Pavilion, London Olympic Park April 2012 by onehourleft, on Flickr |

At night i reckon it will look stunning the strong red allied to the island setting and surrounding sports events should look spectacular.

Not the best picture, but I saw it last night from home and it was surprising just how great the lighting scheme looked. I think there will be more lighting than just the top of the loop but as it is it looked really wonderful.

It looks wonderful from Leyton High Road - couldn't grab a photo but the whole thing is glowing red tonight. Looks like a spaceship.

I just can't get myself to like this, saying that I don't think it looks too bad on those dusk shots. I just think it really detracts from the venues and is really obtrusive.

It only detracts from the stadium. Having seen it in real life on a park tour, I like it.

The grey staircase, observation deck and lift shaft all detract from the pure form that Anish Kapoor first created, however without the observation deck it would never generated any income for its continued maintainance so we've ended up with this awful compromise that looks like the Eiffel Towers turd.
