If they are Hindu temples then again its too early. They should have been building Buddhist stupas and viharas around 3rd-4th century. Structural Hindu temples had not even begun in India at that time.

I heard that the earliest Cambodian temple was a Buddhist temple(built in 4th-5th century); it's in some where in Angkor Borei or Nokor Phnom, one of the oldest kingdom in Southeast Asia. This kingdom have been influenced by Indian Culture since the early 1st century.

Bakong is the first temple that built as mountain temple in Angkor. It was built in 881 A.D for King Indravarman I.

Another day I was watching a program about Angkor Wat temple. I was amazed by this amazing structures.
I would like to visit this place next year.

Before you visit, you should make a plan first because in Cambodia there are many ancient stone temples. So you wouldn't get lose.

It was built in 967 A.D, it's the most beautiful decoration of Cambodia Art.
