Zagrebcnka City Center

Greetings From BiH forums. I was checking out Sarajevo Wilson Center project proposal by Millieu architects, when I discovered this :

Zagrebcanka is a major new mixed-use development close to town centre of Zagreb, offering modern apartments, spacious city offices, contemporary retail facilities, entertainment in a lively and accessible area. Our proposal retains the former meat factory which is refurbished and integrated into the shopping mall. Former factory tower is turned into a museum that benefits the whole community.

A tie, symbol of culture and elegance, is associated with Croats. Once the above values are brought into the fabric of architecture, the same way as fashion does, the Cravat becomes a metaphor for Business. The Tie is also a festive apparel narrating the fashion and Retail.

I'm guessing you guys already know about this huuuuge project for Zagreb. Congrats neighbors, hope it gets done!

da, ovo smo već vidli, to je bio drugi ili treći prijedlog za zagrepčanku, tako nešto?
meni se osobno neboder u obliku kravate sviđa, ali od ovoga ništa.
ovo bi se moglo spojiti sa dretvom "skyline updates".

u biti, to se ne zna. najviše novaca za zagrepčanku je ponudio IGH, ali još nisu platili lovu, tako da je moguće da oni otpadnu, te da se izgradi ovaj kravata toranj koji je inače od druge firme.

steta, bilo bi pravo. Nisam znao da kravata potice iz Hrvatske

Croat-Kravat, i see resemblance.
Ma ko drugi nego Hrvati.

da, ideja je stvarno odlična.
a što se tiče imena, na latinskom je Hrvatska = Croatia u nominativu, dok je genitiv Croatiae. ovo zadnje se čita kao da završava samo na "e", dakle Croatie, pa ako uzmeš zadnja 3 slova te riječi Croatie, dobiš englesku riječ "tie" što znači kravata. dakle, ono što je iz (koga, čega? (genitiv)) Hrvatske.
