It's a summer city, made dor tourism. Only 70.000 people the whole year, but in summer rises up to 400.000 people. Some more information: Benidorm is the city with more skyscrapers per inhabitant in the world, and the 2nd in skyscrapers per m2 (after Manhattan)

Well, a small city for me is like mine, with pop. 80.000 and NO metro area near. We`re 500 km from the nearest metropolis (pop > 1.000.000) and 250 km from any city bigger then our.

Our skyline is quite small this foto is bad and shows part from downtown (the rest is behind the trees).

This is Limerick city in Ireland, population just under 100,000.

in Ireland there are hardly any highrises so to have these buildngs is good going, Its probably got a better skyline that the capitol city (dublin, pop 1.6 million)

Irelands tallest hotel

Irelands tallest spire (st johns cathedral, 308 feet high)

also home to a 50,000 stadium and a 30,000 stadium (also good for an irish city!)

Wow, I had never heard of Camboriu. Very impressive.
Benidorm and Camboriu would have my vote.

Here are a couple of Canadian cities. Firstly, Winnipeg, which has about 700,000 people.
The first pic was taken by our talented Canadian member WpG_GuY, and all others I do not know the source:

and Calgary. At one million people I am not sure if it is considered a "small" city, but it has a heck of a skyline for its size. Again, I do not know who took these pictures:

It is also a relatively new city. This was Calgary in 1885:

I think Tallinn (population approx. 400,000) has a very nice skyline.
