Arlington, Virginia
Population: 200,000
Number of high-rises 75-120 meters (250-400'): 300-500 (my estimation)
Best kept high-rise secret in America!

Northern area

Southern area (Washington National Airport on the far lower left)

Rosslyn neighborhood (note aircraft warning lights, unusual in US cities)

The Pentagon (9/11 anniversary lights, more warning lights in nearby highrises)

Hardly looks like there's 200 buildings in the entire city, let alone 300-500 75m+ buildings.... Anyway, I know Emporis isn't exactly constantly updated but I doubt there's been 490 75m+ buildings been built since last update...

Hardly looks like there's 10 buildings in all of Manhattan... if looking at the facade of the NYSE.

I must have been thinking more like 45M+ for the minimum! Emporis lists around 280 of those in Arlington. (I wouldn't be surprised if they missed a few dozen)

Fantastic idea for a thread.

Oxford's Dreaming Spires is an obvious candidate and San Gemignano deserves a mention for historical reasons.

BEST small city skylines. Just because they have a small population and 4 skyscrapers, doesn't necessarily make them the best.

I think it's a render or photoshop, but anyway WHY do you need a skyscraper for a village of 1331 ppl.
Bottom line, the pics are fake

Right, that makes them even more fake. BTW the Gold Coast is just amazing for the city of 500,000 ppl. Worth the win.
