Thanks!

There is only one jetway and it's currently being used only be Transaero. In turn, Transaero has 4-5 daily flights to IEV.

Let's remind, the Borispol airport in January-March, 2013 reduced a passenger traffic by 21% in comparison with the similar period of 2012 — to 1,249 million passengers.

It's due to the fall of Aerosvit. However, as many users pointed out before (including in Ukrainian section), other Kyiv's airport, International Airport Kyiv, enjoyed rise in number of passengers for mentioned period of time that's almost equivalent to Boryspil's loss. In other words, combined passengers traffic for all airports in Kyiv is pretty nice.

I explained the origin of those numbers. By themselves they look pretty scary, but when you have a complex view you get the idea that everything is not that bad.

In general yes. But after all this small amount of passengers of Borispol it loses money.

It's Boryspil's fault They should reconsider their fees policies.

In truth, KBP management changes their concept every month or so. It just does not make sense to keep terminal F open after UIA move.

The competition with Zhulyany for low costs is not about fees. Airlines just feel much more cooperation there. Partially beacause of the size. Partially because IEV is privately operated.

Plus the idea that IEV is in city limit is attractive to passengers.

Only if Ukraine joins Open Sky, and mysteriously within the next couple of years there is a visa free travel with EU, one could expect terminal F to be of any use in its "low cost" concept.

Ukraine should think twice about joining the EU Open Sky. The weak EU members in economy and population have ruined their national carriers with Open Sky agreements.

Lukyly Ukraine was clever the keep access for EU citizens without Visa. For sure Ukraine hoped for a EU revange. But western tourists aren't bad for the country.
