IMO that's not going to be a problem. I am almost sure that they will organize connection between terminals. And due to the fact that terminals not far from each other it won't take a lot of time to change terminal

Facade and the roof reminds me of Kuala Lumpur airport and partly a bit of Madrid Barajas, at least when i look on the rendering.

#22: So, Lufthansa is coming down with two B707s daily?

Nice roof - like a few others here I do however not understand why no decision was made to put everything under one roof (or have at least only 2 Terminals, one for LCC, one for regular carriers) - Kiev is nowhere near the size of the examples given (LHR, JFK) and a single terminal would definitely boost Kievs possibilities as an ukrainean and/or eastern european hub. Wrong way to go IMHO.

It's not so simple as it seems. The problem is in the land. Land between terminal D and B is in private property.

Nice to see they're finally modernizing and expanding the Borispol airport.
I was pretty surprised how small Kiews biggest airport was when I landed there the first time.

What about the other airport near Kiew, are they going to expand that too?

The Zhulyani airport? They do have a plan, as well as a render to modernize the terminal, but I don't think that they will modernize it, firstly because of the money it needs, secondly its not such a big airport, its only local flights around Ukraine.

Yes Zhulyani was the name of the airport I meant.
So Zhulyani is planned to be just a small regional airport and Borispol the major airport where all the international will be handled?
Makes sense to me.
Are they planning to have a better connection with public transportation from the Kiews city center to Borispol by train or something like that to handle the expected increase of traffic?

Never expected that Ukraine can build this modern n huge airport,yeaa..after recession last year that Ukraine's economy growth was -14% n hryvnia depreciation
