Panama city has a great skyline. Sao Paulo has some 20 skylines but I agree it badly needs half a dozen supertalls all over.

America is Historically/Politically** recognized as one American Continent, and subdivided in 3 sections: as North-, Central-, and South-America

Regarding your question:

Geographically/Ahistorical : 7 Continents (America is here geographically divided in North and South (South America, also mentioned as Latin America) .

Historically/Politically: 5 Continents**.

And for the sake of this thread we would be using the 7 continent system. Thanks.

architecture, as well as cultural (people, art, music, happenings, architecture etcetera) questions are not geographically related topics, this means that the 5 continent system is the right one and the 7 continent system the wrong one, except you'd like to discuss marine life, the fauna or the history of earth on a scientific basis.

other than that, i really don't care what you like or not

ah yes and... cheerio and tally ho

That part in bold isn't correct though. South America and Latin America aren't the same thing. Latin America is South America + the Latin nations in North America.

Not the whole South America. Suriname and Guyana aren't included in LatAm.
