There are two proposal for Nordhavnen Station:

This one the station room is placed under Kalkbrænderihavnsgade.
The platforms on the S-train stations is extended to the north toward Aarhusgade.

The plan is to close the road for cars:

You can get passed the rail at Vordingborggade/Sundkrogsgade which also are a more strait way toward Nordhavnen.

Poor old Kongens Nytorv. Not much for the tourists the next few years.

The proposed route of metro line 4 through the development area of Sydhavn towards the interchange station of Ny Ellebjerg.
Line 4 starts in Nordhavn and follows the eastern side of the ring metro under construction.

2 things worth noticing on this map, Enghave is renamed Carlsberg probably not to confuse with Enghave Plads metro station and it seems like Sjælør station is closed and that is probably to boost the passenger numbers for Mozarts plads metro station and to speed up the s-train line.

I have added the station names to the drawing based on an article I read in a metro planning rapport (Can´t trace it).
I don´t think Sjælør is to be closed, but probably just forgotten on this drawing as it is not affected by the M4 proposal.

Thanks. Imo it would anyway make sense to close Sjælør st when Mozarts plads and Ny Ellebjerg are so close by.

Im not sure about Fisketorvet station name... if they would cover part of the cost to build the station, then i wouldn't mind it tho

Would it make any sense to move the platforms at Dybbølsbro to the western side of the bridge and make an interchange with the proposed metro line, when Kbh H is so close by?

It would not make sense, because there is already interchanges both at København H and Ny Ellebjerg. Not just S-trains and Metro but also regional and IC trains in both stations. I dont think that anyone would change at Dybbelsbro even if there was a possibility for it.

And i would love to see that line being built just after they finish the 1. phase of Nordhavn metro. That would be really awesome

I agree entirely, though on the first drawing I posted, of the Metro station at Nørrebro station, for some reason or other there are actually escalators shown. So it is possible!
Escalators are not considered part of the basic metro but an addition. The municipality where the stations are located are able to "buy" escalators if they wish. Frederiksberg kommune have decided to do this at their 3 stations; Frederiksberg, Axel Møllers Plads and Frederiksberg Allé.

The most ridiculous case is the future Marmor Kirke station where there are 10 escalators in the underground part of the station but of course none the last bit up to street level. There will be none at the very busy station of Kongens Nytorv either.

For the Cityring they will make two elevators to each stations (not in different ends though, but next to each other).

Beside the stations in Frederiksberg also Nørrebro will have escalators to the ground.

Link to Metroselskabets annual rapport for 2011. More and more passengers and a healthy operating profit!

http://www.m.dk/Metronyt/Artikler/20...port-2011.ashx

There are details about the future projects on pages 28-29.
Especially interesting is the bit about the extension of the passenger tunnel from Nørreport Metro station, under the S train and Kystbane platforms up to Frederiksborggade (Købmagergade) This excellent project is apparently not completely dead.

Kgs. Nytorv again,

Gl. Strand, and an interesting open exhibition about stories from the good old days there, on the green wall.

Beautiful shots there, Hafnia, especially the first one. Where did you take it from?

Thx Xed,

Today, Magasin du Nord. I lurked into the cafeteria on the top floor, squeezed me in among the tables occupied by greyhaired ladies, and shot it from the windows

Okay, thanks for the info. If you take away the construction going on at Kgs. Nytorv, I don't think I've seen Copenhagen from a better angle than this before. Have to go there sometime. Hopefully the old ladies aren't to dangerous.
